Colts vs Titans Odds: Who Is Favored To Win?
The Indianapolis Colts are favored by 1 point against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5, meaning the Colts must win by at least two points to cover the spread.
While the spread may list Indianapolis as a 1-point favorite over the Titans, they are much closer to the Titans on the moneyline. The Indianapolis Colts are listed as -115 favorites on the moneyline while Tennessee is -105.
The Colts have not beaten the Titans in their last five attempts, and with their current issues surrounding the team I fully expect Tennessee to become the favorite prior to their Week 5 matchup.

Colts Titans Spread: What The Spread Tells Us
The current point spread tells us that oddsmakers expect this to be a close game. However, the spread listed as less than a field goal says more about how unsure oddsmakers are that either team will be good this season. The Colts are 28-25-1 against the spread vs. the Titans all time. Only one of their last five losses to Tennessee has been by three points or less.

Colts Titans Line: What The Moneyline Tells Us
With the moneyline, we again see a close line due largely in part to the limited information available on both teams. Matt Ryan's departure and questions surrounding RB Jonathan Taylor means we aren't sure what to expect from the Indianapolis Colts.
I can see the Tennessee Titans odds shifting them them to favorites well before their Week 5 meeting vs. the Colts.
Indianapolis Colts Chances To Win vs Tennessee Titans
Despite losing five in a row to the Tennessee Titans, this season could very well be a turning point for the Colts. Indianapolis welcomes in a new coaching staff and a new quarterback. However if they are without Jonathan Taylor, the Titans could be one of their most difficult hurdles of the year.
The biggest challenge specifically will be finding a way to slow down the Titans superstar running back. The last time these teams met in Indianapolis, Derrick Henry ran for 114 yards and scored a touchdown in the first quarter.
How The Colts Beat The Titans
The biggest goal for the Colts against the Titans will be finding a way to slow down Derrick Henry. Linebacker Shaquille Leonard, who missed most of last season due to persistent lower leg pain in his knee and foot, is the Colts' best chance at doing so.
The good news for Indianapolis: Leonard said at training camp on July 26 that it was the best he's felt in a long time.
If Jonathan Taylor doesn't suit up for Indianapolis, the biggest threat to a Titans win would be WR1 Michael Pittman Jr., who went off for two touchdowns against the Titans in 2021; the closest Indianapolis has come to beating Tennessee in their last five attempts.
How The Titans Beat The Colts
With veteran QB Ryan Tannehill, DeAndre Hopkins' addition to the offense, and Derrick Henry (provided he stays healthy), the Titans already hold a massive advantage over the Colts.
Colts vs Titans Prop Bets
While individual game props are not yet available for this Week 5 AFC South showdown, there are some season long props worth looking into for both teams.
Colts vs Titans Player Props
If the Colts have a successful season it will come with a massive rookie year for Anthony Richardson.
DeAndre Hopkins didn't go over 850 yards in either of his last two season in Arizona but his arrival in Tennessee could be a resurgence. Despite Hopkins' high ceiling, there's still no doubt the Titans will be a run-first offense; and Derrick Henry will still have the opportunity to put up some of the highest numbers in the NFL among running backs.
Colts vs Titans Team Props
A lot of things need to go right for the Colts to have a successful season. With the issues they've already experienced in training camp, it's much more likely the Colts find themselves closer to the bottom once all's said and done: The Colts playoff chances are relatively low at 22.2%. And the Colts Super Bowl odds are even longer at +15000, which translates to 0.7% chance via implied probability.
Tennessee meanwhile, likely finds themself in a two-horse race against the Jaguars for the AFC South title and a playoff spot.
History of Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans Games
The Colts have squared off against the Titans 57 times. Their first meeting dates back to 1970 before either franchise resided in their current city.
Like fellow members in the AFC South, the Titans faced a rough stretch during the Peyton Manning years but have had a resurgence as of late.
Colts Record vs Titans
Despite losing their last five matchups vs. the Titans, the Colts still lead the all-time series, 35-22. The longest win streak for the Colts came ran from 2011-2017, when they beat the Titans 11 consecutive times.
Tennessee's active win streak of five games is their longest ever in the series. The Titans have been slightly better at home against the Colts, posting an all time record of 10-16. On the road, the Titans are 12-19 against in Indy.
All-Time Best Colts vs Titans Games
Some of the best games ever played between the Colts and Titans came during Peyton Manning's time in Indianapolis. However, despite his success during his career with the Colts, the Titans proved to be a major challenge early in his career.
1999 AFC Divisional Round (Jan. 16, 2000)
Peyton Manning played his first ever playoff game against the Titans. Unfortunately things didn't go well for the Colts, who were an impressive 13-3 in only Manning's second year. The Titans beat the Colts 19-16. It would be the first of three consecutive losses to the Titans to start Manning's career.
Week 17, 2011-12: Titans vs Colts
In Peyton Manning's final year with the Colts, the tide had shifted. Indianapolis faced off against the Titans with the division already secured but looking for their fifth straight win over the Titans. Despite the lack of playoff implications, both the Titans and the Colts put on yet another classic in Manning's final game against Titans as division rivals.
The Colts would win the game 23-20 thanks to an Adam Vinatieri field goal as time expired.
Week 13, 2006: Colts vs Titans
In the week prior to this matchup, the Titans had tied the second-biggest comeback in the final 10 minutes of an NFL game to beat the Giants. To come away with a victory over the Colts, which they had not done since December 2002, they would need another miracle. And that's exactly what happened as Rob Bironas made the longest kick in franchise history and his career from 60 yards out to beat the Colts 20-17.
